The East Dubuque Elementary School is located along Highway 35 at 100 School Road. The East Dubuque Elementary Schools boasts one of the best teaching staffs the state of Illinois could offer. No where can a young student find a greater place to learn and develop and be set up for success for their next adventures in life than at our Elementary.

Breakfast for Books
We had our AR Superstar Breakfast this morning. Students from grades 2-6 participate in AR. The top 2 readers from the 1st quarter were selected from each classroom: the student with the most AR points and the student that reached the highest percentage of their goal. (One student was at over 200 points and another student reached over 300% of their goal!!) Additionally, each teacher nominated one more student for the GRIT Award. This was the student that stayed focused and worked very hard toward their goal, even if they didn't reach it.Mr. Heiar treated these kiddos to fancy donuts, cookies, fruit, and juice for breakfast this morning. They got to help lead announcements for the elementary school and then played human tic-tac-toe before heading off to their classrooms. It was an awesome way to celebrate our super readers!!
